What is Invisalign Smileview Simulator?
Simulation with Invisalign helps you see how your smile may look like after treatment, from which you can negotiate and give suggestions to your doctor about your desire to come up with a satisfying treatment plan.
The process of simulating the results of Invisalign will be as follows:
First, your doctor or assistant will scan your teeth on a computer.
From this, the computer will analyze and give the 3D simulated orthodontic results.
However, this simulation result is often inaccurate, for several reasons:
1) The computer does not yet understand the limitations of the teeth to be moved, such as jaw bone structure, position and angle of the root axis, etc.
2) At this point in 2021, Invisalign's simulation software has not yet integrated x-ray films for analysis when simulating results.
So a simulation result will be more accurate if done manually by the doctor.
Of course, the doctor is the main responsible person for your orthodontic results, not Invisalign!
